Welcome to SAMMAAN. It’s maybe the first time a global talent hunt of such a scale is happening online from start to finish. We are sure you will have questions as you pass each stage of this wondrous journey. Here is a bank of answers to the most common questions.

Are there multiple age categories for participants?

SAMMAAN has two age categories. Participants between the ages of 6 and 14 can register in the Children category. And those of ages 14+ can register in the Adults category.

What is the deadline for registration? Can I register now and submit my audio/video later?

You will have to register before 15th August 2020, 3 pm IST. Do read the Terms and Conditions carefully before you register. You may register now and submit your audio/video by August 17th 2020, 2:30 PM IST.

What is the deadline for submitting a video or audio clip for the selection round?

You will need to submit your video or audio clip for the Selection Round by 17th August 2020, 2:30 pm IST.

Will SAMMAAN be held completely online? Or would I need to travel if I'm selected?

This year, given the uniquely difficult situation, SAMMAAN will be held completely online – from the Selection Round right up to the Grand Finale. Even the Masterclass for the Winners in each category with their Mentors will be held online.

If I face a problem at any stage who do I speak to and how?

SAMMAAN, from start to finish, will be an online experience. So there might be technical problems we cannot foresee now. For any technical challenges you face, do write to support@shankarmahadevanacademy.com
