To introduce and consolidate the A major scale with correct fingering, tone control, and evenness.

This is a 12-week course where the student gets one weekly lesson for 12 weeks.

LYP 107 is where musical understanding begins to feel deliberate and confident. Building on the technical and theoretical foundations developed so far, this level focuses on refining coordination, strengthening pattern recognition, and deepening the student’s ability to play with clarity and intent.
Students are guided to connect what they see on the score with what they hear and execute at the piano—bridging technique, harmony, and musical structure. Emphasis is placed on controlled movement, thoughtful phrasing, and recognising common musical patterns that recur across styles and pieces.
By the end of LYP 107, students are no longer just following instructions; they are beginning to understand why the music works—marking a clear shift from mechanical playing to conscious musicianship.
