The objective of LYP-105 is to guide students into the expressive world of the Blues and help them advance their overall musical maturity. At this level, learners develop a deeper sense of feel, timing, and personal expression at the piano. The course strengthens their ability to shape musical ideas, recognise patterns, and respond creatively to what they hear and play. By introducing Blues concepts gradually and musically, LYP-105 aims to expand the student’s stylistic awareness, build confidence in freer forms of playing, and set the foundation for more advanced expressive control in subsequent levels.

LYP-105 marks the point where a student’s musical maturity deepens. This level introduces the Blues, guiding learners toward a more expressive, fluid, and personal style of playing. Students work with patterns, phrasing, and early improvisational ideas that strengthen both technical control and artistic confidence. By the end of the level, students begin to sound less like beginners and more like musicians with a developing voice.
