The student will continue learning few more Varnams in different ragas and will also learn Keerthanas of different composers. The concept of singing the Varnam in two speeds will also be learnt.

Duration: 12 weeks, one 45 mins lesson per week
To continue learning the varnams and keerthanas in other different ragas. Respective Raga lakshanas will help students understand and learn more ragas and learn about different composers.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student should be able to
-Sing the varnams in abhogi and sree in two speeds
- sing the kritis taught
- create swara passages in mohanam and mayamalavagowla
: Basics of Carnatic music, Familiarity with Talams, alankarams. Should know more than 4 geethams and also Swarajathis.Student should also know 2 lakshana geethams, atleast 4 varnams and a few krithis. Student should also be familiar with and be able to identify the ragams. Should be able to sing the basic exercises in different ragas. The student should know the Scales ( arohana and avarohana ) of all ragams.
Student must complete CVESa exam with a passing grade of Honors or above.
