Recognize basic ragas used in Bollywood songs.Understand aroha/avaroha and chalan.Sing melodic phrases that capture the raga essence.

At the end of this course, the students will be able to- Identify and sing basic raga-based melodies.- Recognize raga characteristics in film songs.- Sing short raga-based compositions with swara mapping.
