At the end of this course, the students will be able to- Sing basic swaras in tune.- Identify and clap to simple 3 and 4 beat rhythmic patterns.- Recognize shruthi and thalam in selected Bollywood songs.

<p>This foundational course introduces learners to the two pillars of music: shruthi (melody) and thalam (rhythm). Using well-loved Tamil film songs, students will develop their listening and pitch-matching skills, and begin to identify basic rhythmic patterns in music.</p>
