Raga Marva is an evening Raga that establishes a strong presence with its characteristic swara combinations. The Raga deep dive course aims at internalising Raga concepts and Raga exploration. Paltas and a variety of Taan patterns are practised to perfection in Drut Laya. The Bada Khayal in set to Vilambit Ektaal and Chhota Khayals is in Madhyalaya Teen taal and Drut Ektaal.

The student has completed HV207 at the academy OR the student has learnt Chhota Khayal in about 12 Ragas with Swar Vistar, Aalap and Taan. The student is able to sing Bada Khayals with Aalap and Taan in any 4 of the following Ragas- Yaman, Bhairav, Bhupali, Bihag, Bageshri, Malkauns, Bhimpalasi
