The objective of LYP 103 is to guide learners from familiarity to fluency — transforming foundational piano skills into expressive control. Through focused practice in scales, arpeggios, and harmonic movement, students develop technical precision, tonal balance, and emotional awareness. The course aims to help each pianist play with intention, listen with understanding, and express with confidence — marking the true beginning of mastery on the piano.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

Each lesson blends emotional connection with disciplined craft, using dynamic exercises, engaging visuals, and SEL-inspired reflections to deepen both technical fluency and inner confidence. By the end of LYP 103, students don’t just play the piano — they begin to speak its language fluently.
