Children from 6 years to 8 years of age could enrol

<li>To introduce the seven Swaras which are the building blocks of all music</li>
<li>To do patterning with Swaras of the Shuddh Swar Saptak, the natural scale</li>
<li>To introduce voice exercises through simple vowel sounds like Aakar</li>
<li>To learn a song with awareness of Sur, Laya and the meaning </li>
<li>To co ordinate singing with rhythm; developing the sense of rhythm</li>
<li>To learn the aspect of pronunciation in lyrics</li>
</ul>

The student is able to 
<ul>
<li>sing the Seven Swaras (Shuddh Swar Saptak) in the Aaroh Avaroh form.</li>
<li>demonstrate rhythm of 2 and 3 while singing Alankar.</li>
<li>sing Swaras and patterns using vowel sounds like Aakar</li>
<li>sing a song and a Shloka in tune, rhythm and with correct diction </li>
</ul>

This course is  designed for young children to enjoy and appreciate Indian music. 
The lessons introduce the children to the fundamentals of Hindustani music with an approach of generating curiosity by imbibing creative thinking through composing exercises. The concepts of Sur and Laya are weaved together to discover natural rhythm in poetry and music
