The student has completed HV104A in the academy OR any equivalent learning. The student has been initiated into Shuddh Swara practice, patterning with Swaras and Rhythm patterns. The student is keen to learn and sing a variety of songs

To do Swar Sadhana with vowel sounds in Shuddh Swara
To do patternning with Shuddh Swaras
To do Swara progressions in Ragas Yaman and Des
To learn the compositions and songs with melodic and rhythmic nuances
To understand the jist meaning of the songs

The student is able to
incorporate relevant Swar Sadhana exercises in ones practice
sing patterns with Shuddh Swaras
compose simple patterns with Swaras
The student is able to present the Raga based compositions and songs in Sur, Taal and expressions

Duration: 12 weeks, one 45 mins lesson per week

This course takes up more song compositions in the concert favourite Raga Yaman and includes the exuberant Raga Des. The Raga-roop of Des is introduced along with learning of the beautiful song Vande Mataram. In addition to this course offers more compositions to build the repertoire. The Swar Sadhana exercises are done with Alankars in Shuddh Swaras as well as Raga scales.
