Raga Multani is introduced in this course. Multani is one of the Ragas, which is sung elaborately. Beginning with the Swar Sadhana and Paltas in this Raga, we proceed into the Swar Vistar. This Raga though from Todi Thaat, has a Raga Swaroop of its own. The compositions in Multani include a Chhota Khayal and a Bada Khayal compositions. Raga Multani Bada Khayal is sung with the exploration of this Raga with Aalap and Taan. This Raga has its presence in all three Saptaks.
The melodious Raga Chayanat is introduced with a Chhota Khayal.
This course also introduces the student to another Audav Raga, Bhinna Shadja. This Raga is also called Hindoli and Kaushika dhwani. The student learns a Chhota Khayal in this Raga. The Swar Vistar is done incorporating the beautiful phrases.
