Introduce the concept of swaras (notes) and basic taals.Develop pitch recognition and matching skills.Build rhythmic awareness through clapping and recitation.

At the end of this course, the students will be able to- Sing basic swaras in tune.- Identify and clap to simple taals like Dadra and Keharwa.- Recognize sur and taal in selected Bollywood songs.

This foundational course introduces learners to the two pillars of music: sur (melody) and taal (rhythm). Using well-loved Hindi film songs, students will develop their listening and pitch-matching skills, and begin to identify basic rhythmic patterns in music.
