<li>Quarter Rests</li>
<li>Half Rests</li>
<li>Whole Rests</li>

The objective is to make you love your instrument and make piano learning easy for you. Learning piano should feel like a treat to you.

After this course, the student will be able to:

<li>Learn and identify 2/4 time signatures</li>
<li>Learn and identify slur lines</li>
<li>Compose something on a given rhythm</li>
<li>Learn and identify steps, skips, and intervals on a sheet. (2nds/3rds/4ths and 5ths melodic and harmonic)</li>
<li>Learn and identify triads</li>
<li>Learn and identify similar and contrary motion</li>
<li>Understand “D C al fine”</li>
<li>Perform body percussion</li>
<li>Learn and identify ties and slurs</li>
<li>Learn, identify, and clap eighth notes</li>
<li>Learn and identify ritardando</li>

This is a 12-week course where the student gets one weekly lesson for 12 weeks.

This course is an extension to Fundamentals of Piano which was essentially designed to teach piano from scratch. Students can not directly join this course and must have a strong foundation in their basic knowledge of the instrument if they wish to join this course.
