This Raga has Swaras of Bhupali and Kalyan yet is unique. This evening Raga is explored with Aalap and Bol Aalap within the Bada Khayal.

Raga Ahir Bhairav is a morning Raga which has a great appeal. Said to have originated from folk styles this Raga can be elaborately sung in all three octaves with a Bada Khayal and Chhota Khayal.
