What is the GROW WITH MUSICTM
School Program?
It is a music curriculum developed to help children grow along with music learning in every grade of their school life. The curriculum is INCLUSIVE, STRUCTURED, PROGRESSIVE & AGE-RELEVANT.
The program is designed to help children explore and enjoy the richness of INDIAN MUSIC as opposed to the other music curriculums that focus on western music. We aim to bring Indian music to students in an appealing and engaging way that piques their interest.

The program consists of a total of 34 classes - 24 instruction sessions plus 9 practice/rehearsal sessions and 1 final performance
How have we developed the curriculum?
The curriculum is divided into 3 main pillars.
FOUNDATION
Students are taught musical elements through concepts that are familiar to them. This helps demystify musical elements, such as rhythm, pitch, form, texture, timbre and dynamics, making them easily understandable.
APPRECIATION
Through the program, we encourage students to appreciate the versatility of music by exploring music from various regions and genres. By learning songs, students experience the region’s history, geography, cuisine, attire and culture. They also test their elemental knowledge of music by breaking the song into its elements.
CREATION
We aim to help students create their own musical pieces using their musical understanding, which leads to deeper learning. By composing songs with their own musical elements and words, they tap into their musical knowledge. We also help them create songs that propagate social messages they are passionate about.

Aligns with the New Education Policy (NEP)
The New Education Policy (NEP) of India aims to bring in art-integrated learning embedded in classroom transactions to create joyful classrooms and imbibe Indian ethos through integration of Indian art and culture in the teaching and learning process at each level. The Grow with Music™ program recognizes this and is developed specifically around bringing the joy of music into classrooms and also around helping students learn about Indian culture by inculcating it into the curriculum.
