Rhymes to Swaras is a unique course designed by Shankar Mahadevan Academy especially for kids below 6, to introduce them to the concepts of Indian notes (Swaras) through familiar nursery rhymes. This makes it comfortable and fun to learn for them. This is a self-study course, designed to teach them simple steps towards building confidence, enhancing listening skills through easy to follow and simple instructions and enhancing communication skills

Objectives

Introduce the Indian notes (swara) through popular rhymes.

Each line of the Rhyme is mapped to its appropriate notes in    classical Indian Music called Swara.

Build Confidence through exposure to performance in front of others

Build  Communication skills through Rhymes and Swaras

Help in creating sharing and helping skills, through group learning

Help in team building through group learning

Help in building concentration and focus through learning and repeating

Develop  music interest by exposing to elements of music

Develop music skills by listening to music

Develop  language skills through popular rhymes
