Exploring Bada Khayal Gayaki in Raga Yaman extending to the patterns of Layakari and Taan,Getting introduced to new ragas. Raga Allhaiya Bilawal and Raga Bhairavi. Understanding the form of music called Dhrupad and the taal played along with it. Information in brief of the light classical forms of music Hori and Tappa and Ragavargikaran(Classification of Ragas).
Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Create Patterns of Taan and Layakari in Raga Yaman on their own.
2. Learn the concept of increasing the laya while performig the Bada Khayal.
3. Understand Dhrupad style of singing. 4. Enjoy the other forms of Music such as Hori and Tappa.
5. Sing Chota Khayal with confidence.

Basic Knowledge of light classical forms
Knowledge of 10 to 12 Ragas in the form of Chota Khayal is expected
