Exploring Bada khayal gayaki in Raga Vrindawani Sarang along with patterns of Layakari and Taan. Getting introduced to new ragas, Raga Rageshree and Jounpoori. A Chaturang composition. Understanding the concept of Raga and Rasa. And a short note on Types of Instruments.

Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

1. Learn the concept Layakari and Taan of Bada Khayal  in Raga Vrindawani Sarang.

2. Understand  the concept of Chaturang and enjoy it.

3. Compose small and simple compositions on their own.
