Participation in virtual classes is an essential part of courses at the Academy, and lack of attendance can cause a student to fall behind. This can impact the experience of both the student as well as other students in the class. For these reasons, prompt and regular attendance in virtual classes is required, and teachers may issue a failing grade for lack of participation. If you plan to be away, please notify support (firstname.lastname@example.org) and your teacher, and make best efforts to stay current by reviewing and practicing with materials in the OM Book, reviewing recordings of the virtual classes you missed, and completing any assignments prior to the next virtual class.
Students wishing to officially withdraw from a course should follow the procedure for withdrawal outlined in this document.
At the discretion of the Academy, an extension or leave of absence for extenuating circumstances may be granted. Such requests should be made in writing to email@example.com.
